took the AT out this afternoon

Had the ATPRO in the box put away for the winter but the temp got up to high 40's today so went to the park. It sure does make weird noises on the trash items. It looks like I will still be digging those wine bottle caps? I only have about 6 hours on it so have much to learn. I think it did a good job in this trash filled park. That is junk on the right.

Nice take you have! My primary detector rides with me everywhere I go all the time. So the ATpro is riding in the passenger seat. Don't put your machine in the closet. Put it in your car.

Thanks guys for the words of encouragement, appreciated.
Like all my other detectors it will take me weeks using the AT to make since of the sounds it is making. One thing I am impressed with the AT is how good it works in trash areas with that big coil. I usually stay away from a trashy areas until I have some time using the detector and get a smaller coil.
My detectors stay in the car all summer but when the snow comes I just put them up so I don't get any insane ideas that I can go out there with 40" of snow and dig a few coins. Ever since I came back to detecting my wife has thoughts about my sanity now, so I don't want to go out there and push any more of those questionable thoughts into her mind.
