got this Equinox 600 into the park and then into the woods . In the park it was trashy so i used park 1 and turned down the gain to 16 ,i found having the gain to high in trash just makes it blurr into one mangled mess of sounds, I mean your not going to get deep in trash anyway , I could tell somone was already gone thru it and found all the coins, but thats O,K i was looking for rings and digging all tabs & foil . well the work crew came to tar the parking lot and i went into the woods and used field 1 and turned up the gain to 23 and used one tone and 2 swing speed and 2 Iron bias this is a deep mode very deep , you will not swing over a coin and miss it i rely on the VDI numbers or if I want i turn on 2 tone ect this worked good i was finding 22 bullets 7" deep and they always come up 6-9 depends how they are shaped and the old brass shot shells 12 -14 did not hit the big finds but got to work with the EQ 600 and start figuing it out
