Took out the MXT again yesterday.....

Yesterday was a great day for metal detecting here in Indiana; the temperatures
were in the mid forties.

I took out my MXT and headed for an old house on the Hendricks County line.
The house was built in the early 1900

Robert Roy,

Great story and pictures. There is probably more good stuff to find in this area. I would keep on hitting it, maybe with a different coil next time. It for sure isn't hunted out, and the MXT will find the goodies.

Good luck and Happy Hunting in 2008!

Pete

Score!!! Nice finds. HH Rick

Great story and thanks for sharing it. It just makes me sick to hear about the things left behind from the other "so called" detectorist. Reminds me of a happening to Larry a few years ago. We were hunting where there had been someone else hunting and the person left Larry a nice little treasure. It was an old lead battleship. And quite rare. That's what the guy gets for leaving it in the ground.......nothing and no respect. Nice silver dime and wheat cent.......good going!
