took out the deep tech relic for a hunt today!

I got permission for a new field today and was freshly cut from haying and alot of acrage to cover and luckily it was a nice cool cloudy day, although decent hunt but no coins but did get this interesting looking lead or pewter knob it has some interesting detail on one side there is 2 crossed american flags and on the other there is a u.s. shield would like to know what it is maybe someone might have a clue towhat it is?

I think it would look rather cool as a grip for a cane. Might help keep them consarn Whippersnappers in line!
