Took my favorite detector buddy digging today....

...we hit a few parks. He would swing and I would dig until he got too tired to swing and then we switched. First, we went to Adair Park and Brian found a few pennies and then his second cross!!

Here's the cross.

We then went to another park and found a dime, a couple of pennies and his first ring. A child's ring, but a.........RING! Brian was thrilled. The cross is inside the ring in the following pic along with the rest of his finds from his old elementary school. When we got home I swung the Ace over the side yard and picked up another dime and a wheat penny...1952. By this point Brian was too tired to do anything but sit in his wheelchair so I credited Brian with his first wheatie. He wanted to dig it but just didn't have the energy.

He told me it was the best day he's ever had which made me feel good.

Here's the loot. Todays take was $1.04, there must have been a dime and a few pennies in the bottom of the bag from our last outing.

The best treasure you found was sharing time with your father :) Sounds like you both had a great day. Hope you get to go out again and, next time, find some gold!

You two make a good pair of detecting buddies! :)

anything else is just added pleasure from our Lord. Congrats Brian on the cross and the ring. It is always great when you get your 'first' anything. If ya can find your first of something there is hope it won't be the last and is only a beginning of something. God bless you guys (and the ladies too).

Keep up the good detecting Brian.
