Took another trip this past weekend....................:cam:

We headed out to Long Island NY, first Nickerson Beach which has about 1/2 mile of sand dunes to climb over before you get to the water and then on to Jones Beach which was wide and beautiful. All we got was some clad.....no gold, the tide was in but the weather was nice.
On the way home we stopped at Frank Pepe's Pizza for his world famous white clam pizza baked in a real brick oven.

WORLD FAMOUS WHITE CLAM PIZZA, FRESH SHUCKED CLAMS, FRESH GARLIC AND OLIVE OIL......NO CHEESE....NO SAUCE.

PEOPLE STAND IN LINE FOR HOURS JUST TO GET PIZZA HERE. BILL CLINTON AND MANY OTHER FAMOUS PEOPLE STOOD IN LINE AT THEIR ORGINAL LOCATION IN NEW HAVEN CT. FRANK SINATRA USED TO SEND HIS LIMO DRIVER TO PICK UP PIZZA THERE WHEN HE WAS APPEARING IN NEW YORK.

The location in Fairfield is only 2 miles from Seaside in Bridgeport, right off of I-95 near a Mercede's dealership..........ya still gotta wait in line outside though!!!! They built the oven identical to the one in New Haven.
