Took an hour out to dig a little this morning...

...around the house. Boy, I struck out, finding only trash. The previous owner loved roses because I found a couple of aluminum tags thay used to put on the bush's. Oh yeah, I also recovered one of Brians Hot Wheel cars by the edge of the driveway.

The ground is hard as concrete and cracking from the drought. Our rainfall totals are over 8"s below normal.

...as a matter of fact the water levels are at record lows for this time of year also! The problem is finding the time to go. I pretty much can only go where I can take Brian and that is usually close to home. Great idea though!!

We plan on trying to hit a park tomorrow morning before it gets too hot with the goal being to get Brian to walk a little.
