Yep. Abt 6" down. It's pretty worn so it's only worth scrap prices. Hate to scrap it but don't want it laying in a drawer either. Came in real clear and sweet at 89 90 vdi. I can't wait another dry span like that.

Nice find, Dancer. I've yet to find a half dollar and it's another coin on my wish list. Let's see: Barber, Walking Liberty, Franklin, Kennedy. Any will do. Of course, you have to be able to go detecting to find anything and it looks like another week or two before I can leave my Mom alone after her surgery last week. I sure am getting antsy, but if I get a chance to give something back to someone who has given so much to me and my brothers without complaint, I intend to do my duty. HH

Found my first Walking Liberty Half couple weeks ago. Never imagined I would find one let alone two. I have also found one Mercury, and one Barber Dime. My Daughter is really getting into it she found a Rosie yesterday.

Don't scrap it, look how long it took to find another. You could keep it as a pocket piece. Comes in handy for testing depth capabilities and calling "heads or tails"
I don't find them often (a little less than 30 in 27 years) but every one is a prize.
