When I was on holidays recently, I had lunch at one of my relatives new deli. They refused to let me pay for the lunch, so I promised to make them a coin ring from the country that they were originally from.

I guess when you find that many rings you have excellent examples to base it from. That's awesome workmanship johh.

:usaflag:Very nice. And since when is it too windy to metal detect?

It was sooo windy here today, detecting was a real challenge. My hat kept blowing off, and it was pointless to try to use my towel for the dirt I dug up. On the bright side there were no mosquitoes!

Those rings you made are very cool...where can I learn to do that?

Very nice rings Johm Im impressed..
I may give it a try when winter hits...
Hey Johhny Cache I use a scoop
like youd use in the kitchn to sweep the floor
it holds more dirt than i ever dig..and pours right
back into the hole

John-Edmonton,

Awesume work, do you have some pictures from start to finish ?

So a person can see the process you go through to get to the finished ring.

Thanks, hardrockminer
