TOO TOUGH OF A QUESTION????

I've posted this question on both the Modifications & Analog forums and haven't gotten a response. Can any of you guys answer the question for me?--I've seen info on the XL PRO multi-tones conversion and it sounds VERY interesting to me.---Is there anyone in the U.S. that does that multi-tone mod on the XL PRO?? And if so--who does it and what's the cost?--Maybe there is no answer to my question-but I haven't heard "boo" out of anyone-one way or the other.----Thanks in advance, Del

I don't have the info for you but would be interested as just purchased a Whites 6000 pro XL and just love the performance these are one of a kind detectors and I think whites even with new tech. have found hard to beat with new models

I understand were sold over in Europe. The mod works Excellent on my 6000 XLPRO. You just can't ask for a better machine. With the tones (4), it is excellent in the trash and I hunt in the SAT. mode 95% of the time. The Mod made a even better machine then it was. The Tones work in all 5 modes. 2 TR modes,G/B norm mode, Dis. mode, and SAT. mode. I mine. : :

TINFOIL-----I WAS SURE HOPEING TO HEAR FROM YOU ON MY QUESTION!---Because I remember seeing one of your posts where you said you had the mod done and really liked it & that the tones worked in all the modes. So, at least for this point in time---looks like there isn't ANY chance at all to get that mod done.---Yeah, I agree with you--that XL PRO is one gooood machine (tones or no).----I had two and just sold one (for which I'm sure I'll kick myself in the butt later for doing).---Thanks so much for answering my post, Tinfoil--------Take care, Del

I watched the video on youtube and was blown away. It would be cool if Whites brought the old knobby analog detectors back and made them weigh under 3 pounds! I think that could turn some heads!
