Hit a few beaches here in NJ this morning and Mother Nature said 'NO WAY'. I got sandblasted but good...could not even attempt to hunt either the dry or wet sand. Left in about 20 minutes with 2 pennies,1 dime and a few pieces of junk.

At some points you just had to put your back up against the gusts and hold on.

Needless to say, it wasn't fun.

Hopefully Sunday will be better.

I can hunt in the rain, cold, even wind...but not when sand is blasting your face and eyes. NOT GOOD !

I was getting blasted no matter where I went. There were several surfers and there was a guy video taping the ocean. The ocean has been so calm, it was funny seeing white caps and actual waves since the last 5-6 times down it has been like a lake. No wave action till today.

Hopefully I will be back down Sunday...maybe hit 16th street since I haven't been there in awhile. Been hunting farther north.
