too much discrimination??

In south fla. we do a lot of beach hunting .I notice a lot of members in my club getting a lot of watches etc . Im getting gold silver etc but not the non gold or silver watches should I change my discrimination to let more in??

I have found on ANY detector,that you need to start with very little discrim.and work your way up.Most people Start too high.Try the bare min.and when you start seeing a pattern of junk then set discrim accordingly.Always try to use the least disrim that you can tollerate.most sites are "junk specific" meaning only a certain type or two of tabs,crowncaps,ect.No reason to discrim out whats not there.You will find your goodies to trash ratio will increase the most when you let the best disrim cercuit work(your ears).
