Too Many Lead Bullets !

Lenmcgold

New member
With my Garrett AT Pro I have been to 2 sites in last week with gigantic quantities of lead bullets and their casings. Have moved discrimination up to 40 and notched up to 60. This is in Pro Mode. Still digging this stuff. Any recommendations ??
Thanks, Len By the way this is not Civil War country - but way out west.

I keep 'em in a jar. The scrap lead value is pretty good!

Problem is if your notching out stuff that high you're also notching out gold as well. Sort of like pull tabs, if you ignore that number one day you'll ignore a nice ring. Part of our hobby is taking some of the junk I guess, the technology is good but not perfect.

Is is some sort of shooting range? New lead like 158gr wadcutters? If so, a fellow can sort of figure where the shooters would stand and find the brass, and find the lead over in the embankment? I bet if there was a lot of target practice taking place theres good chance you could find a ring, especially if you try to figure out where a person would take off a glove to better reload a clip...hmm, let us know!
