Too Many Choices

So last week I ordered up a MXT Pro.
I currently have an MXT as well as a DFX I picked up on local CL a couple years ago.
GMT too but kind of beside the point.
I like White's stuff.
Anyway I've been pondering and second guessing my decision to buy the MXT Pro when I have the MXT and while the back light is a feature I'd like to have I can deal with ground balancing on the old version.
NOW I've gone and done it and called KellyCO to ask them to stop the Pro shipment and send me the V3i with the wireless.
We shall see how this turns out.
Maybe I'll be so in love with the new detector I can sell off some of the old.
I read about some of you and the fleet of detectors you have and I see myself going down the same path.
Is there no help? !!

Have fun with the V3i ..........now that winter is here, that will give you something to do...figuring out the endless ways in which to set your settings :)
as far as your last question..............no there is no help....and I have already started down that path. Maybe some entrepreneur type will create a 12 step program for people like us that acquire too many machines.

The one with the most toys ,,,,, WIN'S :)

It took me 30 years to get over the "toys" stage and get out and CONTINUALLY use them. BTW, it took me 10 years to upgrade to the MX5, and I learn something more about it every day-haven't had so much fun since my CZ5 days.

Don't look at my signature.

Thanks for the replies.
My conundrum has been looking for a flexible detector that can do a lot of things I can take on the rode with me.

I do 5-6 week Alaska trip every year in May-June for work and want to be able to relic hunt and hit the beaches sometimes.
Not that I expect to find lost jewelry like you folks on Florida and California beaches where the water is warm and there are lots of people.
I just mostly like finding interesting stuff.
The MXT I'm sure would serve me well but to be perfectly honest , I just want a new toy!

You got the bug Tbone,it's good therapy to try different detectors.......that's what I tell my wife lol.Good luck with your new toy.

Lol you got the "bug" now my friend.I'm just about to pull the trigger on my 24th detector, its a disease I tell ya!

The 6x10 is my favorite coil on the MXT pro.I pulled a 37 merc(9" deep) out of my front yard using that rig.All preset levels except no disc.I like to hear everything.

The DFX would be a good one to take with you. The dual frequencies does well moving from wet to dry sand and vice versa.
There are enough options in the DFX to keep you busy learning for a while as well.
The V3i is a DFX on steroids. That one will keep you learning for a long while. It adds one more frequency, and about a couple of dozen new options to fiddle with.
