Can't wait for cooler weather. Only been able to go out once in the last two weeks!
Andy from Hillsborough, NC

The main problem that we are having in the UK at the moment detecting wise is the crops are so advanced growth wise we are struggling to find land too detect on till harvest time,i do have a fair amount of pasture land still available so that will keep me going but the ground is getting harder and wont be long before its like concrete.

The humid weather is the real killer for me,just saps all your energy, autumn and winter is my favourite time.

Haha at least it's wet there.
Here it's just in the 90s and hasn't barely rained.
Could hunt in the evening when it's cooler, but the grass is so dead and ground so dry, it's not right.
It'll even out

went today my holes were filling with water  so I went got some choc peanuts and went home, yeah summer is night hunting time to hot for me.

Been hot and dry here in Indiana too. I been hitting the beaches and in the water. Doing good their.
We complain when it is freezing out or we complain when it is too hot and dry. Where is that perfect place you can hunt year around.... KEN

 I was born in N.C. Lived in Greensboro for 18 years of it. Hot and Humid you need to come down here with me in SW Louisiana. We do have the best food in the world though. However Lexington does have the best BBQ in the world. :clapping: HH Jerry aka Tinfoil

You'll do well when you do get out..Our ground is like concrete ............

I hunt in the cold . My body , for some unknown reason , does not tolerate heat. I use to love 100 degrees weather , now I sweat when its in the 60's . The Dr doesnt have a clue . I think its Lyme disease but he swears its not .

Here in Roanoke VA it has rained almost everyday surprise rainstorms a lot of them with thunder boomers and lighting. Even my outdoor cat :veryangry:,who is scared of high wind and the thunder & lightening that proceeds one is disgusted LOL Then had the heat and humidity yuck!!!!!

Its a lovely cooler day today and not raining,so will be out most of the day and tomorrow detecting, this evening may even do some 'magnet fishing' for a change in a local old 'ford crossing' some interesting finds come out every so often. Its all enjoyable detecting variations :)
