I hope to get out tomorrow in the Late AM or early PM and see what I can dig up..Had to celebrate the Little Ladies Birthday today, she hit the big 30!! Anyway we went to Outback Steak House, our favorite. We were having our usuall. A filet Migon each, conconut shrimp, house salds and two Wallybedarned's its a frozen adult beverage and its mighty tasty. If you like peaches its to die for, but you will not want no more than one due to the sweetness of it. Anyway our Birthday dinner was going well and I looked on the floor and could not help but notice a dead Roach. I live in Charleston and they are so common here we have re-named them as the Palmetto Bug, but a Roach is a Roach. The bug,as I said was dead from poision. It was no big deal to me but everytime I would look to my left there he was belly up. I asked the waitress in a very quite manner if she could remove the dead bug and that was it. I said nothing else about it and went on enjoying our meal. The manager walks up and tells us to order what ever else we wanted and it was all on the house!! I could not belive it, if you ever have ate there you know the prices are pretty high for a steakhouse. I think our bill was well over 125.00 after the to go plate and a few more drinks and desert. The manager told me that their extermination company gives them a guarantee if a customer sees a dead roach or bug they pay the bill (check) I walked out of that steak house with a full belly, a bag full of goodies, a full wallet and two smiles, my little ladies and mine. You cant beat a free meal like that. I really wasnt trying to get a free meal out of it, I just asked if the lady could remove the bug while I was eating. I was shocked to find out everything was free and they told us to keep ordering. Man that was a treat, Sorry to go on and on about it, but I had to tell someone..Take care everyone and Remember if you see a dead bug at outback you get free dinner. Its that way here in Charleston any way.
