Too Cold To Detect...Made Some Coinrings Tonite

Had a cold front come through today with windy conditions, which made it too cold to detect. Thought I'd make some coinrings to pass the time....

John those are awsome I have never seen any with the coin still stamped like that. How did you do that? Or do you know where I might find a how to on this type of coin ring?

John the rings are beautiful! When I was a young kid in school about the fifth or sixth grade we made rings from coins but different than yours. During recess we would lean against the school house wall and put our shoe heel up towards us and take a silver coin and a spoon and placing the coin on the heel and rotating it as we struck it with the spoon at least a million times we would flare out the coin rolling out the edge and rolling the date and information on the coin under to the inside of the ring. When we had roughly the right size and the date and denomination rolled under we would cut out and smooth the center to finish the ring leaving the date ect. This was popular because you could use the coin of the date you desired and the coin for the size ring you desired. Yours rings are much different and the info is on the outside how are these made if you dont mind me asking?

Thanks. Do you sell your rings if so how much are they. Would not mind having one for a example.
