Tone Profiles and Patterns 1 & 2

I'm a new CTX owner and still learning.
I haven't been able to find an answer in the forums.
Can you assign a different tone profile for pattern 2 in the same mode? (Coin, Relic Etc.)
Thanks

No.

That would be on the top of my short list for upgrades/updates. Was going to add it to the list started on the Resource Center but someone beat me to it.

Hello Minelab we are here.

The two Patterns in each hunt mode simply allow us to have two different levels of discrimination within that one hunt mode. Since we can only implement one Tone ID profile for each hunt mode, it is impossible to have one for each of the two Patterns within that hunt mode. But there is a way to simulate two separate tone profiles on a hunt mode. Simply set up a second hunt mode that duplicates the first one, frogging the patterns and assigning them a different Tone ID. Then you can use the Programmable User Pad to access the duplicate hunt mode with the different tone, instead of using Pattern two of the same hunt mode. HH Randy

yup just use the user assignable button to assign a second pattern. So in essence you can have 4 disc screen and two sets of tones.
