TONE ID QUESTION?

The Cortes has about 9 tones in the SUM mode when pressing the spring loaded switch. It's somewhat useful, but the bars tell me the same thing.
 
They have made the following models with a Dual-Tone audio based on the notch discriminate setting.

Royal Sabre
Golden Sabre Plus
Pantera
Golden Sabre II

The Euro Sabre had the Iron Audio ID with a higher-pitched non-ferrous audio response.

And sometimes - if the combinations of mixed tones are counted - it can give a lot more different audio responses than the four tones, including what someone on here described as a "hoarse duck quacking":).

Yeah, I guess I made myself about "as clear as mud" with that question--sorry.-----What I was curious about is multi-tones (3-4) in the disc hunting mode on any detectors Tesoro has turned out.---On the Golden with it's 4 tones-does it take some of the zincs & IH's in the high tone & some of them in the next tone down?--I guess there is more spread in the mid-tone range-right?----I've never owned a Golden but always been curious about that little detector.---I was going to purchase one awhile back but haven't as yet.---A big draw back for me on that detector is that it doesn't have a manual GB.-----Thanks, Del
