I have had Tom D's site bookmarked since he opened it. Has it changed recently ? I cannot find the inland hunting forum. Has something changed? DJ

Oddly the TomD website inquire on another findmall forum got deleted

Yep looks like it was hijacked....hope Tom has it backed up.

You want to know why ? It wasn't the proper place for it.

Neither is it here, but as long as there are no links being posted, and it stays low keyed, it will stay up.

I think he will have it backed up. This has happened at least once before, about 5 or 6 months back and Tom got it straightened out fairly quickly, but like someone pointed out, Tom posted that he would be gone for about a week, so this time it may take longer for things to return to normal. The hacker probably read Tom's post and timed his attack accordingly.

It's not "Off Limits", Find Mall has never allowed links to any non sponsoring site. Plus try to keep in mind these are Fisher Forums, for Fisher talk. Tom may promote Fisher at times, but it's just a private commercial forum. We have other forums here at Finds where this could have been posted, how about the Feedback Forum, or perhaps the Metal Detecting forum.

This is a Fisher CZ site and although Tom was instrumental in the design of the CZ3D seems like when companies change so do their people to an extent. I am sure Fisher respects Tom but indeed posting info on other sites is contrary to forum rules and I am sure the original post was done in good faith. Might search the web for sites covering all companies and detectors where this would not be against their forum rules and more applicable...
