Toltec ll coil question

Has anyone ever used a 9x8 spoked coil on the Toltec ll? Will it work ok? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't used a 9X8 coil on a Toltec but have swapped one around on other Tesoros and it worked fine on all of them. I don't like the out of round coils, and comparing the 9X8 to the round 8" coil showed no difference in depth anyway so unless you just like the way they look you won't really gain anything except an inch in coverage on every swing. I liked the older 8" white coil better than the brown 8" or the 9X8, it seemed to be a little hotter.

Hi Bill...If your looking for some honest to goodness performance enhancement with your Toltec, go with the 10 1/2 inch concentric coil. They are light and work great with the Toltec. Will give you about 2 inches extra depth than your standard coil, cover ground a lot quicker and you can find them very inexpensive on the classified. Even at new price, they are a bargain.
