Toltec II warm up

knarfj

New member
Took my old reliable Toltec II out for a spin at a local park and found my first silver for the year. Well what can I say. I'ts a start.:wiggle:

Looks Like the first ring I found this year but was using my Shadow X2 and not my Toltec II nice to see another Toltec II user on here as well

Nice ring a ding ding,

My wife bought one brand new in 1995 when the Toltec ll first came out, we still have it. It is a little heavy for her now, so we bought a new Deleon for her last year. I've compared them both and they are have similar depth, the Toltec ll can keep up with the newer technology.

That is great.I heard that was a good detector.I like those older Tesoros.I really think they are becoming really popular. They made so many cool models.Nice hunt! :super:

Yeah there has been a couple on there recently, thats where I picked up mine.

As a spare you might try hip mounting the box on the Toltec II? Then your only swinging about 1-1/2 pounds, about half of what the Deleon weighs. :twodetecting:
