Just recieved the Toltec today. I was eager to get a set of batteries in it and give it a quick swing before work. I checked the meter in my test garden in the back yard and it's spot on. I love the older Tesoro audio.... they really talk to you.... 
Just want to thank Steve (Ski Wiz) for giving me the oportunity to own one of these classic Tesoro units. I think it's definately a keeper!
