Toltec 100 update, No longer a Brick on a stick.

Old California

New member
Well, stripped the Toltec 100 down again and replaced the brick housing with a current type.

Have used this same type housing before on a Treasure Baron mod, had an extra one and early this morning mounted it to the T-100 S-handle.

Not quite finshed but she's coming along as planned, completely new setup just need to remount the circuit board and pots. Pictured in one if the pics is the Treasure Baron.

Really enjoy doing mods, hope to do several this year after this one is finshed.

Thanks for your time,
Paul (Ca)

Paul, you have done it again. You never cease to amaze me with with your talents. I always enjoy your mods, and reading your posts, and hope that they will continue for many years.

Turned a beast into a beauty.
Nice job as always..............................

Thanks downeaster,

The updated housing already has six slots for the six Pots, only the threshold hole will be for notch and the five other holes are already correctly labeled.

Very simple mod, no harder than a 100 piece puzzle.

Thanks again,
Paul (Ca)

Thanks Sevn,

That's what I was thinking, once a bleast now a beauty.

Painted the Toltec 2 meter housing black, now I'm thinking about going with brown again including the lower housing. Not sure but st least the mods heading in the right direction.

Thanks again,
Paul (Ca)

That does not look an easy mod to me! But I sure did enjoy seeing it and hope you will post up any other mods you do.

Looking great Paul, can't wait to see the finished Toltec and hopefully read about some hunt reviews.....Awesome!!!!!

Hello Irsjr,

Have several different types of models I'm going to modify in the coming year, really neat stuff looking forward to getting them done.

Although I'm leaving the hobby metal detecting wise, plan on keeping my vintage metal detectors and find time to tinker with the special models.

Sure guess I'll still metal detect near home, It's the long drive hunts the more serious hunts that will be fazed out. Don't have time anymore due to work and other priorities.

Take care,
Paul (Ca)

Thanks TigerNed

This neat setup will be a joy to use, going to be a heat coin shooter for sure maybe even a gold jewerly getter. The recovery speed is there depth is fair and now with this neat hotrod setup should be a serious hunter, can't wait to hit the local areas.

Thanks again,
Paul (Ca)

looks nice
