Toltec 100 revisited...

First let me say its heavy and the meter is on the small side..It has trim pots inside and numbers from one to another may differ depending how its setup..
Pennies register from the 60's to 91 on mine but if it hits 92 its a dime..Indeed one of the few detectors that will do this and hunting the local park one does not have to dig pennies,, even the so called high pennies..Quarter is 95 and a nickel 22 so ID is excellent and yep it just loves gold jewelry. Considering it was made in 1987 quite an accomplisment for Tesoro.

it is for me...try....having the weight and balance of an XLT

Your abilities really show thru on this one..One problem although Tesoro still has parts and fixes old machines, doubt if they would touch your version..Perhaps you should have been a designer of metal detectors..

Scott, How much would you charge to set my Toltec 100 up like that? Email me lcul629@aol.com
