This is my first post on the forum and of course I'm looking for info on a find, lol. I have researched the net and spoken with a couple filks in token collecting with no luck. Found the token/pendent below at a Kansas ghost town a few days ago. I am thinking it is a token/pendent or possibly poker chip? Any info would be appreciated.

A little larger in diameter than a nickel. Seems to be made of copper. I'm guessing period is late 1800's.

This is all that I could find, it's hard to search for it without any writing on it. This source says "Counter/Gaming Tokens - Eagle with Star / 2.50 Inside Wreath". He adds a few details.....
18 mm - brass
Eagle with a star on its breast
2.50 inside wreath

Yours is likely a different diameter but the design is very close. I'm not sure yours has the star on the eagle but it's possible.
Ebay link This link will probably quit working after some time passes.
