token help

Can someone tell me any thing about these tokens. Like when they were used, did someone have to buy them or were they given as change, and is there any way to find information about the stores that used them? Oh and do they have any value now? Thank You Chuck-AZ

I couldn't find anything on these two. Perhaps there is a Oklahoma "good for" or "trade token" book that has these listed. Most of these types of token were used from 1880 or so to around 1920. As far as value, you'll have to seek out collectors of Oklahoma tokens. Search Google for "Oklahoma "good for" tokens" using all of the quotation marks. Good hunting.

Hey Chuck,

I searched all over for that one token of yours named Bob Sparks and could not come up with anything. What I want to say is not to sell it until you find out information on it. If its a rare token, it would be worth $$$$ and I'm talking up to $1,000.00. Everything I come up with on that token mentions Shawnee indians and if thats a token dealing with trading with the indians, you got a good one. Keep us informed. I know there use to be a person called the Token Guy and he knew everything about tokens. If I find his web site I will let you know. Thanks.
