I found this token last fall and just cleaned it up, any help would be appreciated!! The barber was a surprise find at a closed school yard.

Tokens are tough to identify because everyone back in the day was making them. We found one couple months ago and traced it back to a gentleman family from St Louis. I called him to give it back to the family, wow what a conversation that was. It made the family's day it's back in their hands for good. The token was for 1 quart of milk. Don't give up on it it could be a hell of an adventure for you.

Going to need some clearer pictures or some interpretations of what is printed on the token to help.

I would like to buy a vowel please.

Very nice finds thanks for sharing!

I wonder if you could do a rubbing on that token. What I mean is lay some tracing paper on it and rub it with a graphite stick or pencil, might just bring out a few more letters.

Congrats on the Token and the Barber ! :clapping:

Here's a link to a great site that I've used to ID a lot of my Tokens.
