Toggle switch problem

Just like what happened with my XLT, the pinpointing switch on my 3 year old MXT is starting to stick. Is it OK to spray a little WD-40 on it, or is there any other fix I can try without having to send it in. Its not under any warranty, by the way. Appreciate any help.

I wouldn't sprat WD-40 on it. There is some electronic spray that might help, but it's probably worn out. You can buy a replacement from one of the Whites service centers for about $10. It's not too hard to replace if you have a little soldering experience. I would check with:

Hope this helps,

Try some electrical contact cleaner, you get it at any hardware store. That shoulddo the trick .....hh kd

This is a oil base product that will leave a oil film and collect dust and dirt and make the problem worst. Like the other say get a electrical contact cleaner which you can get at Radio Shack as it will clean it out and not leave a residue
