Like i posted before, toggle boots can be bought at many places.especially from sponsers of forums very cheaply. I prefer to make my own from blue silicon aquarium tubing, just measure,cut,warm/heat,apply.use a pencil to widen the opening.hope this puts you in right direction.sam in ms

sealteem5,

Here's a quick cover if you need to keep the dirt out. Cut out about a penny size circle out of rubber (old inner tube) and put a small hole in the center, slide over toggles, label on the rubber if needed. I've been using these on my detector for several years, after running into some toggle problems caused by dirt and sand, works fine so far. I just never got around to buy toggle covers.

Troy any dealer who carries the sunray product line should be able to get them for you and may have them in stock.

Good to have if your getting dirt in around the toggles.

I dont use them anymore, keep the entire housing covered instead.

here it is with a one gallon plastic bag pulled over it, then snapped into the control housing clip. controls are all easy to operate, nothing gets wet or sandy and even the coil connector is protected. I push the earphone cord through the bag and that seals it real well there. bags are about $3 for 100 in any walmart or similiar store. I change mine out as needed. keep the same type bag on when I use it in the hipmount/chestmount bag. keeps the control housing and controls like new.
