Toggle Boots For Sovereign Switches

Here are some toggle boots for the Sovereign on Ebay...

Dixie Detectors also carries them and I think has a better deal. I got mine from Dixie and their's are half boots where as the ones above are full boots. Half boots don't wear out where as the ones above can wear a hole in them. The Dixie ones are military grade and will still keep out dirt and moisture. I think having these boots on your Sovereign is very important to keep sand and such out which will ruin the switch sooner or later. In particular if you hip mount the box and are reaching over the switch to switch to PP or something.

I ordered the half boots last year, the full boots wear out very quickly , so far the halfs are still tight around the metal switches no water or dirt can get under . Plus shipping over there is to pricey for 4 its just over 5.50 USD .

I ordered the half boots the same day I ordered the GT. I was concerned about them only being half boots. Guess the wear point would be the end of the toggle so the half boots should last longer.
