Found today in area of old homestead..mid 1800s-early 1900s?..very thin..bout half the thickness of the dime..I thought maybe with holes on top and bottom. maybe threaded to a Ladies wardrobe somewhere?

Boy, I can't tell what it is. Is there anything on the back? That usually will give us an idea.

Looked at back Nancy.its just a reverse of front.no id marks..its appears as a stamped item, as front side is raised..though only a hairs thickness..did find this in a location where I thought a few might gather to chat and relax..was basically on top of ground..possibly due to that it doesnt weigh anything..but is of some metal type....i have no guess beyond that:shrug:

That's strange that there's no marks on the back such as where a pin and clasp was. Maybe it was glued on a woman's hat??? How strange. Maybe someone on here can figure it out.
