Todays token find

Well got out for a couple hours today at a park near here . I dug about 20 coins all clad and 1 token . MY hunting buddy dug the same exact token a couple months ago in the same area so must of been a token spill . He still has his so he didn't throw it back . Though maybe some of you that are interested in the tokens would enjoy seeing it anyway . The town named on it is about 200 miles from here .

The old tokens are so neat and what a little piece of history. I would hope your partner doesn't " throw it back" or throw anything back.......rather throw it away if it's junk. The token is NOT junk. Some people pay a good price for tokens. Great find Harold. HH, Nancy

Hi Nancy sorry wasn't saying my partner was throwing his stuff back cause he doesn't he is very responsible when digging and puts all his trash in the trash cans . I just meant that mine was like his but not his cause he hadn't threw his back . He still has his , he is like me saves all good target stuff.

I guess I came on a bit too strong. I was trying to state that tokens are a cool find. Sorry about that Harold. Keep up the great detecting and continue having fun. It's been too cold here to detect, but maybe we'll be able to go next week. HH, Nancy

No problem Nancy just didn't want you to think we weren't responsible detectors I just figured I worded things wrong.

Here is the info I came up with on that token it isn't very old but interesting and a long ways from home .

Coin Operated Equipment Llc is a private company categorized under Video Game rooms and located in Columbia, MO. Our records show it was established in 1985* and incorporated in Missouri*. Current estimates show this company has an annual revenue of $1 to 2.5 million and employs a staff of approximately 5 to 9.

I would have thought it was a much older token than that. Good info and thanks! HH, Nancy
