Todays Tesoro Finds

Hit a different schoolyard today, really the first official hunt for this year.
Grabbed the older Cutlass II with the 7" coil and decided its time to show what it could do.
Mind you I dig trash, you get to see it all and the good stuff.
Spent 3 hours hunting before the sun got too hot and I was afraid of getting burnt.
School is not that old, about 16 years, hoping for some jewelry and clad.

Later that evening went back with my home brew Mirage PI and see what else I could find using the 7" coil.
Spent about 2 hours going over some other areas of the play, practice field.
You can see in the pictures, it doesn't find the same junk as the VLF.
Half a horse shoe, ignition switch. had some pretty deep 10" holes going and the target was still deeper, gave up on those.

Sven,

I'd say they have about equal trash to good finds ratio, I like the cross.......... nice hunt. A lot of those trash finds look familiar..lol

dosnt matter where in the world we might be modern junk looks the same interesting though thanks for sharing.

way less foil with the mirage , but a bit more Iron with the mirage , but cool thing is about = on the high coins , I don't like those deep signals,

Thats a beauty of a hunt and represents a lot of effort! Great work!:clapping:

good job Sven ,When are you going to make a water proof "Mirage PI" I think it would be good on gold rings

Already sent the first one out last week. Mine is ready, and now finishing up a third for another.
I am going to be land locked for a number of months with two surgeries so it will be up to the other two guys
to get out and play with them.

I am only posting because you asked, this post might get pulled as its not a Tesoro.

Sven, interesting to see a side by side test with those 2 machines, the old Tesoro seems to be working well but also the other machine as well, still very tempted by a waterprood version, but its all cost related and only really want the control box and coil, especially like the machines abilty to not see as much junk as other PI machines.Still very tempted to try one out on a trashy saxon/roman site :ukflag:

Those are some very nice looking junk piles. If you had gotten your search coil over a some gold jewelry it would have been yours.
