From the land of the Bluenose...nestled in a quiet cove of St. Margret's Bay Clevelands Beach is a mecca for the family and rugrat crowd as the high waves that are ever present at Queensland Beach, a few miles up the road don't exsit here due to the sheltered cove and underwater landscape. A good place to find dinkies and buried diapers.
One would never know by this winter photo that this is one sandy beach that stretchs out at least 40 feet at low tide till the wall of seaweed balks one's progress. What is appealing about Cleveland's is the lack of junk targets while on the other hand at certain times of the year this area other than the beach is undetectable due to the swarms of jellyfish. And let me tell you me son those ones with the red trailers can give a fellow a nasty red welt!
If you look to the far left of the photo you can see that it stretches out to a point that once was a base for local fisherman who braved the seas in search of albacore and blue fin tuna as well as the spring and fall macheral . Have found some interesting fishing tackle and paraphinilia . As a side note it is also a palce wherethe family can make an outing of berry picking.........ummm blueberry grunt is some good you! For the bouys that like photography the view from this point is...................beyond!

Well you sure do have a great eye for composition - the pic is perfect. good job, Steve
