I headed out to a place I have hunted a bit before and as usual you can never get it all.
It is a really old place that dates to around 1810. It has given up many coins over the years to me and my buddy.
Although the finds are getting fewer and farther between there are still things to find and some are still surprising.
Many of the original structures still remain and this place is picturesque.
Luckily we have had some rain so digging was much easier today
The owner knows me and always loves to see what I can pull out of the ground next.
The only surprise today was I got a neat little buckle clasp of some kind that says "Music" on it.
All total there is a rough 76 IH (missed by 1 year), no date Buff, a little mini ball, a crotal bell, knob of some kind, and 3 buttons (2 are back-marked).
It started raining like it was being poured out of a boot so, the hunt came to an end quick.
It was hot today up until the rain came and the temps where at 92* when I quit.
On the way home there where some serious wind gusts taking down trees and really small hail.
I am glad I got in the vehicle and called it quits before the rough stuff came through.
Here are my goodies for today and an old structure at the location.
