Todays small finds

You know its going to be a good day when you step out of your truck and see a coin laying beside you was gold colored so I put it in my pocket and moved on to hunt then the first coin I dug after about a half hour was a 1945 S war nickel so day started off pretty good then in the next hour and half only dug two more regular nickels .I was hunting with a new D2 today that I got from Larry its a beast of its own going to be ok but take me awhile to tame it for sure. Works great Larry just take me learning how to hunt with it was in some real trashy ground . When I got back to truck I looked at the gold coin which I thought was a token of some kind but instead its a Finland coin not sure what its made of yet but reasonably sure its not gold . lol The gold colored coin rings up a VDI +47 on my MXT ..wasn't a bad day in Missouri as long as you were in the shade.OK sorry pictures are not straight but was doing this in a hurry tonight ..
Good hunting all

What a good day for sure. It's always nice to find a foreign coin. Great war nickel too! I think this year has been the most war nickels I've seen come out of the ground. I love those nickels!!!! Hope you get the coil "tamed". You're going to love it.

Good looking War Nickle. I looked up your 1 Markka coin and found this on a coin site. There were 2 versions, one made out of copper/nickle. And a more golden one made out of Aluminum Bronze.

KM# 76 1 Markka 1993
Composition: Aluminium-Bronze
Diameter: 22.25 mm
