I was able to get out for a little bit after the rain blew through.
I hit a spot I have hunted about 5 years ago that is close by as I only had about an hour.
Very weird that I got three Tokens and all 3 are the same and the where not in the same hole.
The have a makers mark on them but it is only really legible on one of them.
I also got 2 wheat's the oldest was 21 and a old copper suspender strap buckle.
The property dates to around 1880s so the tokens are old. They are made of copper.
I like tokens allot so this lil hunt worked out.
Here is a dig of one of the tokens and the group photo.

Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a great week.

Very cool Mike! I'm just gonna pretend those M's stand for Mike and you were destined to find them :)

Very nice - if this was in a farm area, they might be "picker's checks". Was there an orchard there before? On the east coast the farmers gave out these type tokens for each basket of vegetables or fruit the worker picked.

Neat finds! I agree with DougF - the tokens you found may be picker's checks. Hopefully you can research the area and find out if it did employ workers to pick fruit or vegetables. Perhaps the owner's last name started with an M. The maker's mark , if it is legible, might be able to help out too in your research. HH
