hello all. we were having a good day - until severe rainstorms hit. pete and i decided to hit some old homesites near the battle of haw's shop battlefield. the rain cut the hunt short, but we still had a good day. here goes: a nice brass cavalry flagstaff pommel with screw, a great looking 1904 dime, three dropped .58 cal. three ringers, a shot .52 cal. sharps, several spencer casings, an eagle button with the thread still attached, part of a suspender buckle, a chewed .69 cal. bullet [hard to find around here], a 194? cent, a f&s lockbody, and several brass whatzits. i got skunked last weekend - that don't happen too often - so today more than made up for that. i don't mind the rain either - it'll make sunday's signals sound even better! thanks for looking, and hh!
