Todays PI Finds...

Well, I got skunked today but I went with Vlad and Robert today and they did ok again :) They pulled 1 silver and 4 gold rings from the same beach we have been working last few days...

I might have found a ring if it weren't for the fact I was out in deeper water than they were and I had my back to the sound and a tanker went by and 35 degree water drained down my waders killing my good time lol...

Man, you guys are really cleaning up on that beach! The quality of your finds is impressive. I really like that old stuff, it has so much more character than newer jewelry. Plus, it's kind of neat to try and imagine who might have worn it and when. Possibly some swimming party in the 1920's or 30's. Great finds all in all. As for getting skunked ... I wouldn't worry, you seem to have a pretty good track record :please:

That is number one reason why I won't buy waders......surprizing wakes and even rouge waves in the sound! I will just wait until summer a deal with the fishies.

No where did I post my waders filled up with water... I said water drained down my waders, a cupfull at best but the fact it was 35 degree's was a bit chilly for certain parts of my body lol...

I love my waders, I don't have to worry about jellyfish stings and I can hunt in the cold water where most of the gold is :)

I was MDing a lake once and, a fisherman ask if I could find his pole he dropped off of his boat. I walked off the end of the ramp into a huge hole, from the washout of people powering their boats on the trailer. Lucky for me it was warmer water than 35 degree, and yes you can swim in full waders but not for long. I did get the guys pole while I was getting my equipment out of the lake.

My kind of luck is that they would fill with icy cold water.....I still would rather deal with the fishies

Not a problem :) You're lucky.. I hate the water and I don't swim but I do into it for the gold :)

There is always one comedian in the house lol... Careful Ga or I'll seed your beach with thousands of copper washers :)
