From the land of the Bluenose.....this piece was found on the Bluestone Rd off the Northwest Arm in a small picnic area that is overgrown. Not sure if it was a bracelet or was connected to a set of prayer beads at one time. Most of the coin finds there were from the 1930's.
 
It looks like a Marian bracelet as I see several Marian Devotional items on there. It may also be a "Friends In Heaven" Bracelet.

Leslie, how did the detector identify this item? Silver ?

I always find it surprising that an item comes up different than what the md indicates. Guess thats why I dig a lot.
