From the land of the Bluenose.....this 10k ring was found at a high school yard near my home town where I excelled at soccer, basketball, recess, noon hour and chasing a pretty dark haired cheer leader named Paula (wonder what ever happened to the lass). Again not quite sure of the letters on this one.

Nice dig ! I never have hunted a high school - I figure there's too much grass to dig for too few returns. Do you find much at them ?
Paula's probably on the funny farm after not being able to handle loosing you :) Steve

My ex and I thought about hunting the high school near where we live and kept putting if off in asking permission and then Tami was in high school and the superintendant while she was there was a boy who rode the school bus with me when I was on the farm and attending a small town high school. He was younger than I! Didn't go and ask...because was busy and going through many, many problems at that time...just before he left our home! Then I wanted to hunt it later when things were better with me and I was more able to do so....but again didn't ask as I didn't know the one running the school and didn't go to get permission.

Well, lo and behold, I found out from one of the members of the club who sold me my last detector, that a young man had gotten permission and was hunting the high school grounds and finding all kinds of silver and etc. The guy who sold me the detector had thought about hunting it but like me had never asked, which was unusual for him. So the moral of the story....go and ask and then with permisson hunt and maybe you will find something and maybe you won't...but you won't know until you try!

He and others had hunted another high school near me! Then I got permission later on from the superintendant, with a card to show if questioned, but I never found much...since it had already been searched and searched and then after the school was repaired...all I could find was large, small & med size pcs of aluminum that came in like a quarter! I lost interest after that!

God Bless!
Betty
