From the land of the Bluenose.....thought for the next 100 days I would post ring finds. Still adopting to the new camera and have gotten that figured out now to work on the lighting. Daytime no problem but would love suggetions for evening photos of finds. Tried a bare bulb on the top.

This ring was found on a trip to Saratoga Springs, NY to meet a fellow I had never met...my bio father who died last June. Ring is dated 1980 Clinton High School. Here is one side of the ring which rates as the largest silver one I have ever found.

Nice ring, I was brought up in Saratoga Springs NY, moved away 20 years ago. If only had a detector then, the places I know would be good today.

She's a beaut!! Have the twins made it back from the trip down here to Texas yet? Am looking forward to seeing what you find this spring when you have them back and working properly. I was amazed at what you found with them this past season and they only sorta worked.

... on the loss of your father, Les. And BCD is right. Amazing find, considering you used only half functional, "junky" Freedom models. What IS the status of the twins, anyway?

(...by the way your use of such "antique" gear has prompted me to go in search of a Freedom III, which I have found. I will be getting it in the spring. Any tips on the use of such things would be appreciated.)
