Today's Park Hunt with the Sovereign XS

The park I hunted has a beach area,but new clad isn't what I'm looking for,so I went back to the jeep and switched from the scoop to the trowel knife.A little over an hours hunt near the lake yielded 23 pennies and 3 clad dimes.The interesting finds 6 wheat's 1915D,1917,1918,1927,1927,1946D and one Indian Head 1890.A great park and metal detector.

Your Finds are indeed a good day for hunting a Park, The Minelab Sovereign family including the GT are exceptional detectors and will still be around claiming great finds for many years to come, even the original Sovereign being 12 years old. I have an original Sovereign my self with many Mods and I will not sell it or trade. I gave it to my son a while back and it cost me to get it back, but worth it. It will Hunt with the Newest and Big Dogs out there. I'm waiting on Rain to try out my new Mod addition for my Sovereign. I hope to have great days like yours.

Gentlemen,I agree any Sovereign in good working order is a great metal detector.I'm at a high old penny ratio with no silver again so the silver is there I just have to get those faint targets.A little more time and Patience, and I'll find that silver,but I have to work this weekend.
