Think 2 white thingys are for electric fence...but area we were in doesnt fit with electric fence...no idea on other one...animal bit?
 
Cleaned dirt off white things...smaller one has an "L"...next to each connection...larger white thing there is a "G" and 2 "I" as in upper case i.
 
I think you have some Radio Antenna gear there...Insulators for high power Radio antenna...Possibly Broadcast station stuff???

Found out they are Western Electric telephone pieces from early 1900s... http://providence.craigslist.org/atq/2484213237.html
