Todays nice lil hunt. Finally some cool fall hunting weather!

Got out today with my long time hunting buddy and my son.
We headed back to the old church we had hunted back in early August.
Athough finds are scarce there my buddy was able to snag a beautiful 1883 Indian.
I and my son found nothing but wheats and clad.
On the way home we hit another site (old home). Here my son and I had some luck. I was able to squeak out a silver 43 P Jefferson and some buttons and my son found a nice 09 Wheatie. My buddy was able to dig a nice 42 Washington as well. My buddy was the winner today IMHO with the beautiful 83 IH.
Below are todays finds (minus the tons of junk) and a beatiful picture I stopped to take of a Sunflower crop.

Thanks John, I just had to pull over and take a picture of such a beautiful view. I like to always get pictures of places I hunt and anytime I see a great scene I try to get myself a picture.
Amazing how every flower head was facing the same way following the sun.

Nice day Mike! Same here on the weather. This kind of weather gives me a two hour boost!!! Nothing today but 3 wheats around where I found that Barber.
