Larry and I tried our luck at detecting today. The ground is so dry here. Not good. But did have a bit of fun playing. I found this spoon about 8" down and just the tip of the spoon was sticking out after digging and digging I didn't think I was ever going to get that thing out of the ground. :ranting: Managed to get two Wheats 46-D & 51-D then came across a good signal....1939 Merc. Ended up being a pretty good day for detecting. Thanks for looking.

Nice finds! The Mercury dime is one of my favorite coins. I have yet to find one with my new MXT, but have managed to find handfuls of clad coins. Way to go, Nancy!

Great finds" i found a spoon at a park and it was very narled up by the time it came out today i found an old handle to a fri pan and started using it to extract targets worked pretty good you must live in an old earea to make finds like that wow keep up the quest
 
Love those mercs!! Wish they made a bigger one.. Seems you and Larry were spoon'n so how much detecting was going on??:inlove:
