I got out today to return to an old school site that I found quite a few silver coins at back in the Spring and planned to return when it cooled down.
I tried here a couple of weeks ago, but there were softball games going on all day and I only got to search this area for about a half hour before calling it quits for the day.
In that half hour, I found one clad dime and a 1912 V nickel, so I was hoping today the field was not being used.
I started off and within 15 minutes had my first silver dime.
The other two were found later in the day and the two other silver items were found in between along with the Buffalo nickel.
We have had about 4 inches of rain in the last week, and the ground is perfect for digging now.. I think after the grass dies down some more, I can squeeze a few more silver coins out of here.
Only got one wheat penny dated 1941 that was about 8" deep.
It was actually deeper than the silver dimes.
I also found the worlds smallest car too today!!LOL
Thanks for looking!!
