Todays hunt.

Back to my local beach again today and had a good hunt.A good few coins,bracelet,3junk rings and an 18 carat diamond ring.The stones are quite a nice size......i would imagine it cost a bit when bought.The sunglasses are becoming a standing joke with the wife,i seem to find a pair every time I go out.

I've had a great couple of months so i'm well pleased.Might have had more today but I was trying to help a fellow detectorist who had found 4 rings the last time I was on the beach,the problem is he lost them the same day,they all fell out of his pocket.Spent about 2 hours with him trying to re locate them to no avail.
Here is a picture of our local beach.The tide is half way up the beach so you can probably imagine how big it is when the tide is out.We have the second highest tidal range in the world in this area.

Lol.......Doug said that the other day,he can come in with us selling toy cars which he finds every time he goes out.The pair I found before those on the photo were quite a nice pair in good nick so i've kept them to wear myself.Looking forward to catching up when I get back from the midlands.....i'll keep an eye on the forums though so make sure you find some good stuff to post.
