Today's Hunt

I got for a little while this afternoon to hunt the yard of a neighbor and friend that I've hunted many time with my Etrac. I have not found my first "CTX silver" yet, but I still managed a few keepers.

1909 Indian Head, 1910, 1918, 1919 and 1953 Wheaties!

Give me Indian Head and Wheaties all day! (with the occasional silver, of course)

Couldn't tell by the picture, but is the watch case gold or silver? Great to be outdoors.

The face cover is missing. The face of the watch is porcelain. The back has some corrosion so it wouldn't be gold. Maybe plated?

So awesome

Now I just need the silver to start "popping"!

Sweet man! Does that Indian have a mint mark? Pocket watch looks to be plated? Or possibly Rose gold? I've had rose gold come out like that before.

No mint mark that I can find.

Great hunt...

Those are some good looking pennies! I have yet to find an indian head or any silver currency! I did however find these 2 rings so far! :bouncy:

I will keep on :detecting: and searcing for those elusive silver coins!! I just ordered the 6 in coil yest from Bart at bigboyshobbies!! Hopefully that will help me get through the trash!!

I love my State of Oklahoma!! Keep the families down in the Moore area in your prayers!!

Nice rings!

We are praying for the people of Oklahoma.

Duke, what depths are you finding your IHP's at? Also have you tried the ground coin? Sounds like you and I have had our machines about the smae amount of time! I am loving it!

I found the Indian head and Wheaties at about 6 inches. I'm running an Open Screen in 2 Tone Ferrous and Ferrous-Coin.
